Reiki translates to Universal Life Force.  During a Reiki session, the practitioner supports the healee to process tension held within the body, bringing about complete rest, and rejuvenation.  The session is guided based on what the healee is ready to process, heal, and receive.  During the healing session, awareness to potential causes for tension may be discussed as is guided, and necessary.  Tools to help continue processing emotions, thoughts, traumas, focus, connection, etc.  may be discussed as guided, and necessary.  Session may end with a guided meditation, which can also be used as a tool to fully centre self whenever needed.  Falling asleep during a Reiki session is an absolutely a normal experience as well.
